Quiénes Somos

Mago profesional y experto en hacer sonreír. Ha trabajado en empresas y equipos de trabajo hasta cárceles, hospitales y lugares donde haga falta un poco de magia. Ha presentado su espectáculo en México, Colombia, Uruguay y muchísimos lugares de Costa Rica. Desde 2016 es el Director de Magos Sin Fronteras Costa Rica.

Néstor received his MBA from the University of CR, and has worked as a local financial trader and consultant. He has served as external financial advisor to several of the country's largest institutions including ICE and Banco Nacional de Costa Rica, and as the local partner for Excel Consultores, a prominent Mexican group that provides a broad array of administrative support services. For the past 5 years, Néstor has facilitated creative financing solutions for various development projects locally. Néstor comes from a humble and influential hard working Costa Rican family. His father, Guillermo Zúñiga, served as Minister of Finance in both of Nobel Peace Prize winner Oscar Arias' administrations, and as CEO of one of Costa Rica's State banks.

Charles was a seasoned entrepreneur, enterprise design specialist and business executive with over thirty-five years of international business and financial management experience. In the course of his career, he directed over a dozen startup projects and company expansions in the USA, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Over the years, he managed his family's business, traded agricultural commodities, developed international distribution channels for consumer and industrial products, and developed and sold several billion dollars of products throughout the world. In 1997, Mr. Gohmann was recruited to develop a program to commercialize wood from Costa Rica's reforestation projects. After completing a three year commitment to that project, he co-founded and served as CEO of First Costa Rican Title & Trust. He and his team built the company to a position of leadership providing legal, title and trust services to foreign investors in the Costa Rican real estate market, overseeing hundreds of millions of dollars of transactions. Since 2005 Mr. Gohmann focused on financing and business development activities, working with innovative companies in the hospitality, life sciences and technology sectors.

Olivier es un joven emprendedor que ama la magia, y más que la magia, ama las causas sociales por lo que cree firmemente en el impacto positivo que Magos sin Fronteras ha hecho y va a hacer en Costa Rica. Desde muy temprana edad trabajó con grupos de jóvenes aportando un granito de arena en su desarrollo personal y espiritual. Olivier está convencido que con magia es posible tener un mundo mejor y más lleno de personas felices. Ha sido profesor de portugués y experto en tesorería corporativa, actualmente se desempeña como analista financiero y es co-fundador de una empresa de importación y venta de ropa femenina, tiene una maestría profesional en finanzas y comercio internacional.

Alejandro has been a partner in and provided finance and administration services to a number of business and several real estate projects and manages BDA financial and administrative matters. With Charles Gohmann, Alejandro was a co-founder of First Costa Rican Title and Trust, where his duties included management and disbursement of tens of millions of dollars for property transactions and supervision of all escrow accounts.

Tom Verner is the Founder of Magicians Without Borders, psychology professor of thirty-five years and avid lover of magic. Tom left teaching to carry out this dream of Magicians Without Borders.
